Neo Financial - What if? Campaign

I co-wrote this campaign for financial technology company Neo. It included brainstorming hundreds of “What if” lines before finally landing on a dozen or so to use in the scripts and OOH executions.

The Challenge:

Position Neo as a premiere banking alternative and spark interest in their financial technology app and products.

The Process:

Weeks of brainstorming over what approach to take then another few weeks of finding the best what if lines.

The Results:

21% increase in brand awareness. 100K+ views.


Futurpreneur - Work is Changing Mock Campaign

The Challenge:

Robots are going to take over... alright, not like in the The Matrix -- but automation could replace 46% of Canada's workforce very soon. Futurpreneur wanted to own the conversation about the impact of automation to encourage entrepreneurship. To do this, it wanted to drive audiences to its microsite, workischanging.ca.

The Process:

My team and I created this mock campaign complete with billboards, digital ads, a publicity idea, and a video ad. We used a serious tone tempered with humour to keep it from being too pessimistic to entice audience engagement.

The Results:

The agency we created the mock campaign for picked it as one of their favourites. They thought our publicity idea was particularly strong.

Futurepreneur - publicity idea

Making something is only half the battle — you have to get it out there. My team and I created a publicity campaign to get this issue the attention it deserves, and get workischanging.ca more hits.

We designed a fake company called Automaton Corp. It would post jobs ads online and in classified sections across the country with qualifications so outrageous that only a machine could possibly fulfill them. The ads would take the audience on a journey to Automaton Corp.'s official website and eventually to the Work is Changing microsite. I created these mock-ups to give the client a better idea of what the concept would look like once executed.

Commercial
