Blogging & SEO
There are plenty of technical aspects to SEO, but at the end of the day it all comes down to providing the best answers to users.
While I understand the importance of content, I’m always up to date with the latest technical aspects of SEO. I find it oddly satisfying to craft the perfect blog post, researching the right H1s and H2s, making sure I’ve hit all the “people also ask” questions, crafting clean meta descriptions, and of course providing readable, engaging, useful, and well-researched articles that help build relationships with customers.
Check out some of my work.
Parian Logistics - SEO & Content Marketing
Don’t let the corporate name fool you. At Parian I had the pleasure of writing for multiple apparel brands’ blogs. It was both challenging and rewarding. Ricki’s, Cleo, Warehouse One, and Bootlegger each had distinct audiences and brand voices but it was always fun covering style topics that also had SEO value for each brand.

Types of Jeans for Men (1.3K impressions, Avg. Position 22.5)
Bootlegger: Style Spotlight Blog Series (Content Marketing)
I led this content series by interviewing Bootlegger employees, writing in-depth profiles, and organizing and producing accompanying photos and video content. Unfortunately, I was unable to see the other aspects of this project due to business challenges (spoiler alert: bankruptcy). While this writing isn’t SEO-focused, I’m proud of the profiles I produced and privileged that these individuals shared their stories with me.

Photographing fast-moving punks in dimly-lit bars for my blog has taught me to think about composition on the fly and go for quality over quantity. Here I have a little more fun and don’t focus on SEO, but hopefully you can still enjoy the writing. I've also covered things like spoken-word and underground wrestling. Over 4,500 visitors have viewed the blog more than 10,000 times since 2017. Click on each picture to see the rest of the post!
